Commercial Activity in GH-7
commercial activity

As all of us have been observing since a long time that commercial activity in G.H-7 has been increased to a great extent, in the beginning it was limited to few flats but now a day’s almost all the ground floor flats are being used for commercial activity (mostly used by property dealer or interior decorator etc). It does not stop here, now commercial activity has reached till 12th floor, in tower 1, D2 block(flat no 12020) somebody has opened travel office from where there operation is controlled, there SUVs are parked in G.H-7 open space and throughout the day lift is used by their drivers which is unsafe for our family. Security person don’t know whom to stop, whom to ask what. The biggest reason we see a lot of obscene art/drawing and paan/gutka peek in the lift is due to these labor, driver, carpenter only.

As we know from the agreement letter done between residents and crossing management, commercial activity inside GH7 residential campus is not permitted. It seems a notice has already been served by the crossing management but no further action taken by them. Col Sachdeva on this matter says that the RWA should act and stop this commercial activity. But the RWA has no legal authority to take action, so far crossing management is handling society maintenance, it is their responsibility to stop commercial activity, he agreed but it seems he is waiting for a bigger pressure from all the residents and RWA in this matter. All the residents should submit a objection letter to crossing management to stop commercial activity, efforts done by few residents or RWA alone will not solve the problem. If required all the residents should collectively meet crossing management or director etc. Request RWA legal team to prepare a letter and let each resident submit it to col Sachdeva individually, if crossing management gets few hundred letter they will bound to take the action.

Hi Kapil,

You are correct. It is really going to be a pain area in the future thus we should ask crossings management to get the Car and Bike sticker process to be fully completed ASAP, as this will put some control on this kind of activity.

Secondly we need to talk with crossings management to get commercial activity stopped ASAP as it is there duty to maintain the security and decorum of the society and if they fail to do so, we can take the opinion from our legal team for the same.

If this is not restricted now in future we will not be able to restrain this.

Yes, Commercial activity is really problem for all. One pathology center opened on 5th floor (Tower-2, Block-E2). We cannot identify who is coming in tower- resident or patient? And lift is also generally busy on 5th floor in day time.

I have seen a notice on the Notice board of tower 2, that VIBGOYER is not going to issue electric recharge coupons after 30th Nov’2011, to the flat where commercial activities are running.
Yes is really a matter of worry, and if VIBGOYER issuing the recharge coupons than CRIS should intervene into it. I do agree with the above quotes, it’s not only the inconvenience related issues it’s a threat to security as well.

Ahead Together,
Akhilesh.

I would like to add few points, those commercial activities which are facilitating only CRIS residents should not be banded. As per my views, few facilitators like baby day care, ladies beauty parlors should have a benefit of the services they are providing and they can’t cause a risk to security.

Ahead together,
Akhilesh

I feel commercial activity should be strictly banned as we have all signed the agreement including the one serving our society as the time passes it will become impossible to stop it therefore however is responsible should take immediate action .
Even the cell towers on top of the building should be avoided
